Ride for the Kids 2015

I just received this e-mail.  I did this ride last year.  It was well supported and had great prizes.

-----------

Hey everyone, we are in full swing with the 2015 Ride for the Kids. Please mark your calendars for Saturday August 15th. The ride will begin at 8am and this year we will have several different ride options depending on the riders level of expertise. There will be rides ranging from 25-100 miles. The object is to get as many people as possible to come join us in this great cause.

We have vendors who have committed some great prizes and great food..

Attached below is a flyer. We would appreciate it if you would please post it on your Facebook or Twitter page. We are striving to raise $7500 for Make-A-Wish and we will need at least 200 riders to make it happen. Thanks to all of your help last year I presented MAKE -A- WISH a check for $3,800. Lets double it!

I have already sent in a request to have the ride advertised with cycling utah.com, but need your help to get the word out to as many people and bike shops as possible.  If you know of a young person who lives locally, and is struggling with cancer, please let me know. We are looking for someone to sponsor.

We are looking to make this a great annual event. We need your support!! Please spread the word.

Thanks to all,
Brent

Biker's Edge Cinco de May Century

Thank you to Biker's Edge for putting on another great early season ride.

Check out the Cinco de Mayo Century at this link:  http://bebikes.com/events/cinco-de-mayo-2015/

The Cinco de Mayo Century presented by America First Credit Union.

MAY 2nd, 2015
7:30am 100 Miler
8:00am 50 Miler

Join us on May 2nd, 2015 for a fully supported 50 or 100 mile ride!  This event is completely free and is our way of saying thank you for being such great and loyal customers!

The Cinco de Mayo ride was born to encourage all levels of riders to come out and meet the community of fellow cyclists.  Both routes are relatively flat making it a great opportunity for any hesitant cyclist.  The courses will be followed by your favorite mechanics from Bikers Edge to help with any maintenance issues along the way.

To ask questions, stay up to date, and to be aware of changes, follow us on Facebook and Instagram @thebikersedge!  We will post any and all changes to the event on Facebook – plus, you’ll always be the first to know about shop sales and discounts!  Hope to see you out there and ride safe!  Be sure to register before we cap at 300 participants!
